My name is Anne-Cécile Alexandre
A pattern maker trained at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne (IFM), I worked for over 12 years on high-end/luxury ready-to-wear collections (Saint Laurent, Céline, Hermès, Chloé) and in Haute Couture (Dior, Givenchy). I also collaborated with independent designers (Lemaire, Maison Rabih Kayrouz) and bridal designers (Christophe-Alexandre Docquin).
In 2024, I created atelierCOLLEC to offer designers a human-sized technical support in the creation of their models, and to relieve them of all or part of the development time (ready-to-wear, made-to-measure, costumes for live performance, textile objects).
atelierCOLLEC is also a place for transmission through training, open to the general public during dailly classes and weeklong workshops.

Training
Pattern-making classes using draping on mannequins and flat pattern cutting are held on Thursday afternoons and one Saturday per month. Week-long sessions are organized each quarter to explore a specific theme in depth (bodice and dart placement, draping on a bustier, etc.). Contact me for rates and schedules.
